Content Guidelines
What type of content performs best on your platform?
High-performing content on our platform typically has these characteristics:
- Original Research & Data: Unique studies, surveys, or data analysis
- Thought Leadership: Expert insights on industry trends and developments
- How-to Guides: Practical, actionable advice with step-by-step instructions
- Case Studies: Real-world examples with measurable results
- Industry Analysis: Deep dives into specific sectors or technologies

Content to Avoid:
- Thin content (under 800 words for most publications)
- Overly promotional or sales-focused pieces
- Duplicate or spun content
- Content with factual inaccuracies or poor grammar
- Topics unrelated to the publication's niche
Each publication has specific guidelines available on their profile page.
Are there specific formatting requirements for submissions?
Yes, we recommend these formatting standards for best results:
- Length: 800-2000 words (check specific publication requirements)
- Format: Google Docs or Word document preferred
- Headings: Use H2, H3 headings for structure (no H1)
- Images: Provide high-quality images with proper attribution
- Minimum 1200px width for featured images
- Alt text for all images
- Separate image files (not embedded in document)
- Links: Include full URLs in parentheses after anchor text
- Author Bio: 50-100 word author biography with headshot
- Metadata: Suggested title, meta description, and focus keywords
Our submission form includes a built-in content checker that alerts you to formatting issues before submission.
Can I republish content that has been published elsewhere?
Generally, no. Our publishers require exclusive, original content that hasn't been published elsewhere online. However, there are exceptions:
- Syndication: Some publishers accept syndicated content (clearly marked in their guidelines)
- Repurposed Content: You can expand upon or update previously published pieces with significant new value
- Cross-posting: A few publishers allow cross-posting to your own blog after a waiting period (typically 30-90 days)
Important: All publishers use plagiarism detection software. Submitting duplicate content can result in:
- Immediate rejection
- Suspension of your account for repeat offenses
- Forfeiture of any funds associated with the submission
When in doubt, create original content specifically for each publication.
